‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ and ‘Munna Michael’, two starkly different films hit the screens last Friday. While the latter is struggling at the Box Office, ‘Lipstick’, a low budget film, is sailing through. The film, made at a budget of Rs 6 crore, released on mere 400 screens across the country and still managed to collect Rs 5.20 crore in its opening weekend. On the other hand, ‘Munna Michael’ released on 3,000 screens across India and raked in an opening figure of Rs 6.62 crore. The film went on to make a total of Rs 21.12 crore in three days as opposed to its budget of Rs 45 crore.
