Alia Bhatt’s upcoming movie, ‘Dear Zindagi’ has the classic ‘Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le’ from yesteryears. R Balki suggested to wife Gauri Shinde, who is the director of ‘Dear Zindagi’, to include this popular number from ‘Sadma’, featuring Sridevi. Gauri Shinde was quick to include the classic track in her movie. Originally, ‘Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le’ is a composition by Ilayaraja of whose Balki and Gauri are big fans. Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan have been promoting ‘Dear Zindagi’ on various TV shows and events. However, the movie also stars Kunal Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi.
