The Bachchans of Bollywood are known to be associated to several social causes. And recently it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who extended support to UNAIDS, and is the Goodwill Ambassador for the same. “The United Nations had been communicating with me for a while and for us to come on board together. There are lot of causes that need attention. I was glad that when I did join hands with UN it was with UNAIDS. I just wanted to help reach out to a lot of women because communication is the key. When the concerns of shame and feeling gagged disappear, things will work more effectively.”
