Akshay Kumar has announced his next film ‘Crack’ with Neeraj Pandey. Akki has planned to shoot for the film in January 2017. Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are planning to complete shooting for this thriller by March to release the film around Independence Day, 2017. However, buzz is that Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali’s next, ‘The Ring’ will also hit the screens around August 15 next year. This film also stars Anushka Sharma and is said to be a romantic film shot in Prague. Since SRK is known to avoid clashes, it would be interesting to see if he bows out of race or not.
