Irrfan Khan showed a different side of himself when he did the quirky AIB video which went viral on the Internet. However, the actor is back to playing serious characters with his next film ‘Talvar’, based on the 2008 Noida double murder case. Speaking about the movie, Irrfan said, “When I read the story, there was a revelation for me. It grabbed me emotionally. I lived this story. I don’t think ‘Talvar’ is giving us a scope to show our talent, but it is just trying to engage you in our times. It is a compelling drama.” ‘Talvar’ also stars Konkona Sen Sharma and is directed by Meghna Gulzar.
