Soha Ali Khan will be playing a mother for the first time on the silver screen in realistic drama ‘31st October’. The film will hit the screens on October 7, clashing with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next, ‘Mirzya’. Commenting on the Box Office fight, Soha says, “It is very difficult to get a solo release. But they are completely different subjects and there is certainly space. We can hold our own with ‘Mirzya’.” While ‘31st October’ is based on the assassination of Indira Gandhi, set against the backdrop of the 1984 Sikh riots, ‘Mirzya’ is a love story inspired from Mirza-Sahiban.
