A couple of months ago, Zoya Akhtar was reported to have signed up Ranveer Singh for her next film titled ‘Gully Boy’. Reports stated that Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan would make her debut with this project. But it seems like Alia Bhatt has bagged the film. Trade buzz suggests that the fresh ‘jodi’ of Ranveer and Alia will debut in the movie which will be inspired from a real life story about Mumbai-based rappers. Ranveer and Alia’s chemistry is already evident in commercials which they endorse and now Zoya’s movie will take this association ahead.
