Radhika Apte has been roped in to play the important role, that of Akshay Kumar’s wife in R Balki directed ‘PadMan’. This Bollywood film is a biopic based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented a machine that manufactures sanitary pads at low cost. Radhika will start shooting for the film this month. The actress is thrilled to play a supportive wife to Akki in the film. ‘PadMan’ will be Twinkle Khanna’s maiden venture as a producer after launching her own production house and will also feature Sonam Kapoor in the parallel lead.
