Deepika Padukone seems to have lapped up an interesting offer. She will portray Rahima Khan, aka Sapna Didi, on the silver screen. Sapna is known as the lady who planned underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s murder. The yet untitled project will be based on former investigative journalist-turned-author S Hussain Zaidi’s book, ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. It will be produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, who has purchased the rights to Rahima Khan’s chapter. Vishal will launch casting director Honey Trehan to helm this movie, which will star Deepika in a lead role, with Irrfan Khan playing a gangster, who is in love with her.
