On the World Environment Day yesterday, Salman Khan launched Being Human e-cycles, which are battery-powered. At the launch, the actor went on to reminisce his earlier memories of riding a cycle. Salman said, “My dad was struggling as a writer at that time and didn’t do so well. But the first cycle he bought me was a chopper, for Rs 3000, when his salary at that time would have been about Rs 750-1000.” Being Human cycles are launched as an effort to contribute to a greener environment, and with this initiative, Salman is trying to do his bit for the society through his organization.
