Huma Qureshi will next be seen in ‘Partition: 1947’, directed by Gurinder Chadha of ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ fame. The actress worked with the late Om Puri, who has played her father in the film. Remembering the moments she spent with the late actor, Huma says, “From the first moment I met Omji, I felt he was a lovely person to be with. He was a very fine actor and we all will fondly remember his huge body of work. He was very warm and loving.” The political drama has already released in United Kingdom with the title ‘Viceroy’s House’ and is eyeing an August release in India.
