After completing shoot of his maiden project in India, ‘Beyond the Clouds’, the Iranian director extraordinaire, Majid Majidi is preparing for his second film which will once again be entirely based in India. Titled ‘Gold Mine’, the film will be based majorly in North India. Majidi says, “The ambience of India is just magical, truly incomparable to any other country. The undying spirit of people and their hope from life despite their hardships is unbelievable. That’s what really inspired me to shoot my next film in India once again.” The filmmaker will begin casting for the film in two months while the project will go on the floor in mid-2018.
