Ranveer Singh is all set to play cricketing legend Kapil Dev in ‘83’, the film which will immortalize the iconic win of Indian cricket team in 1983 World Cup. The actor is upbeat about the same. “It is my honor and privilege to be a part of this film. It is one of the greatest stories of our country,” he says. Interestingly, Ranveer had tried his hand at cricket when he decided to join Mohinder Amarnath Academy at Khar Gymkhana, Mumbai. But the iconic cricketer failed Ranveer in the entrance test, thus giving him a glorious acting career.
