Ranveer Singh’s colorful cop avatar in ‘Simmba’ received an instant thumbs-up from the audiences. However, the makers are now looking out for an equally charming actress to be cast opposite Ranveer. Alia Bhatt was speculated to have been approached by the makers to romance Ranveer but the actress has a packed date diary. The ‘Udta Punjab’ actress has three films lined up for 2018 – ‘Gully Boy’ with Ranveer, Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Varman’s next with Varun Dhawan. Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar, who have come together for this film, are planning to lock the leading lady by next month.
