‘Padmavati’ release date has still not been announced and the lead actor Shahid Kapoor is not too happy with the long delay. “The wait is killing me; I am dying for the film to come out. By the end of the year, we will have clarity about the release date as we want to showcase the film as soon as possible,” says Shahid. The year 2017 started with a dud like ‘Rangoon’ for Shahid Kapoor and ‘Padmavati’ failed to release at the end of the year. “When I look back, I feel it has been one of the most exciting years in my career,” he adds. Shahid will soon begin shooting for his next, ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
