Ajay Devgn has signed up to play the titular role in historical drama ‘Chanakya’. He will essay the role of one of the greatest political thinker, philosopher, economist and royal advisors from ancient Indian history. Neeraj Pandey will direct this epic drama, collaborating with Ajay for the first time. “I am truly looking forward to playing Chanakya. I’ve followed Neeraj Pandey’s work closely and I know he will tell this story with the clarity and passion with which it needs to be told,” says an excited Ajay. ‘Chanakya’ is produced by Anil Ambani and Neeraj Pandey’s joint venture Plan C Studios.
