Saina Nehwal’s biopic, starring Shraddha Kapoor, was announced with much gusto almost a year ago. While Shraddha trained a lot to play the badminton ace on the silver screen, the actress is yet to begin shooting for the same. Shraddha was busy juggling between two films, horror comedy ‘Stree’ with Rajkummar Rao and social drama ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ with Shahid Kapoor. The actress had reportedly allotted her balance dates to her major South project, ‘Saaho’, alongside Prabhas, leaving no time for Saina Nehwal’s biopic. Amol Gupte was to direct this film on the badminton ace, however its future seems uncertain for now.
