Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal-starrer ‘Manmarziyaan’ started on a low note on its opening day but picked up with evening shows. The film marked an opening figure of Rs 3.52 crore at the box office. The quirky, romantic film was well received in the Northern circuit and recorded impressive jumps through the weekend. ‘Manmarziyaan’ made Rs 5.11 crore on Saturday, Rs 5.70 crore on Sunday and Rs 2.10 crore on Monday, collecting Rs 16.43 crore in four days of its release. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, ‘Manmarziyaan’ is the third venture by the filmmaker this year after ‘Mukkabaaz’ and web series ‘Sacred Games’.
