Ranveer Singh is all set to shed muscles that he put on for his cop avatar in ‘Simmba’ and adopt a lean look. The actor has hit the gym with the intention to look more athletic, as he gears up to play Kapil Dev in the Kabir Khan-directed ‘83’. The sports drama will showcase the Indian cricket team’s iconic victory of the 1983 World Cup. Kabir has put together a variety of stars to feature in the Indian onscreen squad. With Ranveer spearheading the team, ‘83’ also features Punjabi singers Ammy Virk and Hardyy Sandhu, former cricketer Sandeep Patil’s son Chirag, Sunny Kaushal, south actor Jiva, YouTuber Sahil Khattar and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
