Bollywood’s ‘hawa-hawai’ girl Sridevi passed away a year ago, on February 24, due to accidental drowning in bathtub in a Dubai hotel. Remembering her mother, Janhvi Kapoor shared, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.” Janhvi lost her mother before she could make her onscreen debut with ‘Dhadak’ in the same year. The film had released in July 2018. Ahead of Sridevi’s first death anniversary, husband Boney Kapoor, both the daughters, Janhvi and Khushi, and brother-in-law Anil Kapoor did a traditional pooja for her in Chennai, which is the late actress’ hometown.
