Akshay Kumar seems to have finally bowed out of the competition and may have shifted the release date of his next, ‘Mission Mangal’. The film, which is based on India’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), aka Mangalyaan, had booked August 15 as its launch date. ‘Mission Mangal’ was set to lock horns with John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ and Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Saaho’ at the box office. However, if the latest buzz is anything to go by then the release of Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan starrer space drama has been preponed to August 9. The makers are yet to officially announce the change in date though. Directed by Jagan Shakti, ‘Mission Mangal’ also features Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari.
