Aamir Khan was to collaborate with Bhushan Kumar for a biopic on his music magnate father, late Gulshan Kumar. However, the actor disassociated himself from the film, which was titled ‘Mogul’, when it was revealed that the project’s director Subhash Kapoor was embroiled in #MeToo controversy. Latest industry buzz states that Aamir is now back to producing the biopic, which is scheduled to go on the floors in 2020. Earlier on, Akshay Kumar was to play the lead character, however he dropped out of the film allegedly citing creative differences. The makers of ‘Mogul’ are now hunting for a fresh face and will soon announce the lead.
