Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor returned to Mumbai on Monday, cutting short the shooting of ‘Brahmastra’ in Varanasi. The leading lady is apparently nursing a stomach infection and director Ayan Mukerji decided to return to Mumbai and allow Alia to recuperate. Alia and Ranbir were reportedly set to shoot a dance number in Varanasi, however the song schedule has now been shifted to happen in November. ‘Brahmastra’ was earlier scheduled to hit the screens in December. But with many delays Ayan later announced that the first part of his sci-fi trilogy will release only in summer of 2020. Apart from Alia and Ranbir, ‘Brahmastra’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and South sensation Nagarjuna.
