Alok Nath stirred a storm when writer-producer Vinta Nanda accused him of rape in a social media post and also filed a police complaint against the actor. However, latest buzz suggests that the rape case is likely to be closed because of lack of evidence, as it may have happened in past cases or can happen even in the future with other complainants. The Oshiwara police have recorded the detailed statement of the victim and have also inquired with the witnesses, but due to insufficient evidence, they are unable to file a charge sheet. Soon after the accusations, Alok Nath had filed a civil defamation suit against Vinita, asking for a compensation of Rupee 1.
