After having almost no films in hand currently, Arjun Kapoor is tipped to play the antagonist in the sequel to ‘Ek Villain’, tentatively titled ‘Ek Villain 2’. Arjun is currently shooting for ‘Panipat’ hence he can start ‘Ek Villain 2’ only next year. Since director Mohit Suri and Arjun Kapoor hit-off well since ‘Half Girlfriend’, the camaraderie could translate in the upcoming film too. ‘Ek Villain’ was produced by Ekta Kapoor and she continues to fund the sequel as well. ‘Ek Villain’ starred Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, while Riteish Deshmukh took over the charge of scaring them in the garbs of slain serial killer. Arjun will take over from Riteish for the sequel. The other cast is yet to be finalised.
