While most stars in tinsel town will return to their own galaxies to celebrate Diwali with family and friends, here’s Alia Bhatt who would rather spend the festive season working. Alia has flown-off to the hill station of Ooty in South India where she will continue shooting for ‘Sadak 2’ under the direction of her father Mahesh Bhatt. This sequel to the hit film ‘Sadak’ (1991) is much-awaited for many reasons. Releasing in 2020, ‘Sadak 2’ will feature original actors Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt apart from Aditya Roy Kapur. Mahesh Bhatt returns as the director after 19 long years with this film, his last being ‘Kartoos’ in 1999. Since expectations are high, Alia seems to have chosen work over leisure for this Diwali.
