Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have been all over town promoting their upcoming historical drama. A dialogue from the film has landed ‘Panipat’ in some serious legal trouble. Nawabzada Shadab Ali Bahadur, who is the 8th generation descendant of Peshwa Bajirao, has reportedly taken objection against a specific dialogue which Kriti speaks. She plays the role of Parvati Bai in the film and was heard saying in the trailer, “‘Maine suna hai Peshwa jab akele muhim par jaate hain to ek Mastani ke saath laut te hain’ [I have heard that whenever a Peshwa goes to the war alone, he returns with a Mastani (a girl)].” Reports suggest that the descendant felt that this dialogue is disrespectful towards the Peshwa and hence a legal notice was served.
