The director-actor pair began shooting their next, ‘RRR’, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The official Twitter handle of the production house welcomed Ajay on board with, “All of us are super charged and ecstatic to kick-start our schedule with Ajay Devgnji today… Welcome, sir!” ‘RRR’ is from the 1920s of India and touted as a “fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters – Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem”. Working with Rajamouli, Ajay said, “My association with SS Rajamouli sir dates back to 2012. We’ve collaborated in many interesting ways since. Working with him in ‘RRR’ is an honour and pleasure.”
