Bhushan Kumar, producer of films like ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and ‘De De Pyaar De’, is working on making sequels of both these films. Though the financer had as many as a dozen films lined up just before the lockdown, he has already started working at the second part of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and ‘De De Pyaar De’. Both the films were written by Luv Ranjan jointly with other writers. While ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ was also directed by him, Bhushan gave Akiv Ali the chance to call the shots for ‘De De Pyaar De’. The films individually collected around Rs 150 crores when they released in 2018 and 2019. Bhushan is now looking at expanding the franchise for both successful films.
