Vijay Deverakonda, who is a huge sensation down South, is all set to debut in Bollywood with ‘Liger’. Produced by Karan Johar, the actor is gearing up for a grand entry in Hindi cinema and recently it was reported that the film received a massive offer from an OTT platform for a direct release. While it claimed that the makers of ‘Liger’ were offered Rs 200 crore, Vijay slammed the statement and tweeted, “Too little. I’ll do more in the theatres.” Directed by Puri Jagannadh, ‘Liger’ will see Vijay essay the role of a boxer. The film features Ananya Panday as the lead opposite Vijay. ‘Liger’ is scheduled to hit the screens in September 2021 and will release in Telugu-Hindi and other multiple languages too.
