Times are definitely changing for Bollywood. Gone are the days when the makers used to rush to book theatres so they could capture as many screens as possible across the country. In a stark opposite scenario, as many as four films have released on OTT platforms like Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5 and Netflix. ‘Shakuntala Devi’, ‘Lootcase’, ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ and ‘Yaara’ will entertain audiences sitting in the confines of their homes. For the moment, the rat race of claiming to be in the elite Rs 100, 200 and 300 crore club at the box office seems to be a thing of the past. While ‘Shakuntala Devi’ stars Vidya Balan, ‘Lootcase’ sees Kunal Kemmu in the lead role. ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ and ‘Yaara’ feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidyut Jammwal respectively. All four Bollywood films have released today.
