Shahid Kapoor was shooting for ‘Jersey’ when the country went into lockdown. Since then, the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial was stuck with the last schedule remaining to complete the film. ‘Jersey’ is based on a cricket star longing for a comeback. Shahid plays the lead role of Arjun Raichand in this Bollywood remake. Reports now suggest that the actor will head to Chandigarh to shoot for the grand finale by the end of the month. Since the penultimate scenes were shot in the state of Punjab, the unit will head to the north along with senior actor and Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur. ‘Jersey’ still has about two weeks of shooting left before the unit returns to its locker room and the makers on the post-production table.
