The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ has been in the news since Alia Bhatt was roped in to play the lead. Even before the flick could go on the floors, SLB fans started rejoicing given the director’s penchant for making period movies and Alia Bhatt’s fan following. The film is back in the news. It is being reported that ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ is sold to the OTT giant Netflix for a post-theatre release. The digital rights of the film were reportedly bought for a whopping Rs 70 crore by the streaming giant. ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ also stars Ajav Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in extended cameos along with Huma Qureshi in a special dance number.
