The actress gave another spin to the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan. Talking about terrorism, Swara opined, “We can’t be okay with Hindutva terror and be all shocked and devastated at Taliban terror… and we can’t be chill with #Taliban terror, and then be all indignant about #Hindutva terror! Our humanitarian and ethical values should not be based on identity of the oppressor or oppressed.” As soon as she posted, people erupted with anger on Twitter. Almost immediately #ArrestSwaraBhasker started trending. Swara is yet to revert to any of the trolls or issue clarification for her statement.
