Pratik Gandhi became overnight sensation after director Hansal Mehta’s hit web series ‘Scam 1992’ released on SonyLIV. By the time people watched the entire 10 episodes of the real-life story based on stock market king, the late Harshad Mehta, they became hard core fans of the actor. No wonder then Gandhi immediately bagged the Bhushan Kumar produced ‘Dedh Bigha Zameen’, directed by Pulkit. Along with releasing the title of the film, the makers also revealed the poster of ‘Dedh Bigha Zameen’ which is labelled as, “A story of a common man’s struggle to fight for what’s rightfully his,” says Pratik. The film went on the floors today in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. This family drama is headed by Khushali Kumar who will star opposite Pratik. Interestingly, ‘Dedh Bigha Zameen’ is co-produced by Hansal Mehta.
