Dino Morea may not be be seen all that much, but the actor is certainly getting a lot of appreciation of his work. Dino won the Best Actor Award at the prestigious Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards 2022 for his work in ‘The Empire’. The award ceremony was held on March 6th in Mumbai. Elated by this honour, Dino says, “I am really grateful that I got the opportunity to play this role. I was starving for good work. And while I was saying no to roles that wouldn’t make a difference to my career, this delicious opportunity came. This award and recognition just validates the years of hard work.” ‘The Empire’ is a fictional period drama created by Nikkhil Advani and directed by Mitakshara Kumar. Dino played the role of antagonist Muhammad Shaybani Khan in this series, released on Disney+Hotstar & Hulu.
