‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ came with very high expectations thanks to its impressive cast featuring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Maniesh Paul, not to mention the prestigious banner of Dharma Productions. The film is off to a positive start so far. On the opening day of its release, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ just fell short of Rs 10 crore as it garnered Rs 9.28 crore at the box office and well overperforming the earlier estimates of around Rs 3 crore. Weekend business picked up by about Rs 3 crores on each day with over Rs 12 and Rs 15 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively. As the figures continue coming in from trade analysts, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has collected almost Rs 37 crore at the end of the three days at the ticket windows. Worldwide it stands at over 60 crores for it’s opening weekend.
