‘Kesari 2’ may not be recreating the success of its predecessor, but it surely is in the limelight. The Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday historical drama landed in some controversy after YouTuber and poet Yahya Bootwala accused the makers of using his original poem on Jallianwala Bagh without permission. After days of making headlines, the issue has been resolved by the producers which includes Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar. Confirming the move, Yahya shared on Instagram, “So, doston, the producers and I have managed to amicably solve the issue in the best interest of both parties. Thank you guy for your support in these two days, you guys have been very kind.” The alleged post, accusing the makers of plagiarism has been reportedly deleted. After 10 days of release, ‘Kesari 2’ has managed to earn around Rs 65 crore at the box office.
