Stellar star cast but lack of content has not cut the ice with critics as many of the leading media houses have panned ‘Housefull 5’. The film released with two different versions, ‘Housefull 5A’ and ‘Housefull 5B’ having slightly different endings. And this trick seemed to have worked at the box office. Despite facing flak from many, ‘Housefull 5’ nears the Rs 100-crore mark in just three-four days at the box office. Day 1 saw Rs 24.35 crore income whereas day 2 minted another Rs 32.38 crore. On the third day, ‘Housefull 5’ garnered Rs 35.10 crore, taking its total to Rs 91.83 crore. The film stars big names like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Ranjeet, Fardeen Khan, Bobby Deol, Dino Morea, Johnny Lever, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Chunky Pandey and actresses like Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Chitrangda Singh among others.
