‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’ hit the screens last week amidst a lot of controversy. While both the movies received mixed reviews, Karan Johar directed love story won the battle at the Box Office. The film collected Rs 13.30 crore on its opening day and went on to make an impressive Rs 66.38 crore at the end of the five day long weekend. ‘Shivaay’ on the other hand made Rs 10.24 crore on the first day and generated Rs 45.91 crore at the end of four days. Fifth day collection of the Ajay Devgn starrer is still awaited. But clearly, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has outnumbered ‘Shivaay’ so far.
