Netflix India has officially locked in the OTT premiere of ‘Raid 2’ and fans of high-stakes thrillers have reason to celebrate. The Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh-led sequel will begin streaming on June 26th as confirmed by Netflix’s Instagram post featuring the film’s poster and the caption: “‘Aaj se ulti ginti shuru.’ Amay Patnaik is back with a new case and the same old fire. Watch ‘Raid 2’, out 26 June, on Netflix.” The story picks up with IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who finds himself under scrutiny after being accused of soliciting a bribe during a raid. Transferred to Bhoj, he crosses paths with Dada Bhai, a charismatic politician with a suspiciously spotless image. As Amay digs deeper, he launches a series of raids that unravel a web of secrets. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film also features Vaani Kapoor and a special appearance by Saurabh Shukla, reprising his memorable role from the original.
