Emraan Hashmi isn’t mincing words when it comes to punctuality on set. In a candid chat with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor opened-up about the lack of professionalism he’s witnessed in the industry, admitting that his tolerance for latecomers has worn thin over the years. Reflecting on his experience working with Yami Gautam in ‘Haq’, he praised her reliability, saying, “She is one of those few actresses who come on time like me, so there was no problem there.” But when asked if tardiness is still common among actors, Emraan didn’t hold back: “‘Kuch log toh aate bhi nahi hain’ (some people don’t even turn-up). They just call the shoot off.” Most recently, Hashmi appeared as himself in the satirical OTT series ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, a performance that resonated well with audiences and showcased his flair for self-aware storytelling.
