Dharmendra’s family has chosen to honour his memory with a prayer meet on November 27th at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. The event is framed as “Celebration of Life” a phrase that appears prominently on a poster featuring a radiant image of the actor in his youth. Friends, admirers and colleagues are invited to come together in remembrance of the cinematic icon. Dharmendra’s final days were marked by health struggles including hospitalisation at Breach Candy Hospital and reports of ventilator support following breathing difficulties. Though he showed brief signs of recovery as per the family, the beloved star passed away on November 24th. His farewell rites were performed the same day, drawing tributes from industry stalwarts such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
