Karan Johar recently unveiled his latest coup for ‘Koffee With Karan Season 9’, bringing superstar Salman Khan to kick off the season. Through an Instagram promotional clip, the filmmaker confirmed the blockbuster debut, where Salman declared, “‘Toh main aa raha hun karne ‘Koffee With Karan.’” The accompanying caption from Johar read, “One last time… a koffee with the one and only, Bhai. ‘Koffee With Karan Season 9’, streaming 14th October onwards.” His choice of words hints strongly that this instalment may mark the end of the road for the beloved chat show. The programme’s journey started two decades ago on Star World in 2004, when Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol became its inaugural guests. That debut season also welcomed Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, along with Aishwarya Rai, who appeared alongside director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
