After much speculation, Aamir Khan has finally announced his next project. But the star is not acting in it, rather he is playing the role of producer. The actor unveiled ‘Lahore, 1947’ starring Sunny Deol on Tuesday, revealing that it will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Aamir Khan confirmed the project in a statement which read, “The entire team at AKP and I are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, titled ‘Lahore, 1947’. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny and one of my favorite directors Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked upon promises to be most enriching.” For Bollywood lovers who are looking for some trivia, ‘Lahore, 1947’ will be Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol’s maiden collaboration.
