Owing to the massive flood situation in Maharashtra, CM Relief Fund is being flooded with donations from Bollywood celebrities. Recently, Aamir Khan contributed Rs 25 lakh, while celebrated singer Lata Mangeshkar donated Rs 11 lakh towards the flood relief cause. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis shared the details on social media, thanking the two personalities for their help, “Thank you Aamir Khan for your contribution of Rs 25,00,000 towards CM Relief Fund! We are also thankful to respected Lata Didi for the contribution of Rs 11,00,000 for Maharashtra Floods!” Previously, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have donated generously for the same. On the work front, Aamir is busy preparing for ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, which is an official Hindi remake of Oscar-winning Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’.
