Abhishek Bachchan will turn a year older tomorrow and there could be a pleasant gift in the waiting for the actor. The latest film being reportedly offered to Junior Bachchan is a crime thriller, remake of French film ‘Nuit Blanche’, which will be produced by Shailesh R Singh. While Abhishek has been approached for the lead role, an official confirmation is yet awaited. He is looking at meatier roles ahead in his career and is currently shooting for Anurag Basu’s multi-starrer. The actor was to join forces with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for ‘Gulab Jamun’, however the project has been put on the back-burner.
