Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Stree’ gave a sudden popularity to the horror genre. Joining this craze is Akshay Kumar, who will soon work on the remake of the South film ‘Kanchana’. The actor, who returns to the horror space after more than a decade, will begin shooting for the film next week with leading lady Kiara Advani. Akki has recently wrapped up ‘Good News’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan and after a short schedule of ‘Kanchana’ remake, the actor will proceed to his cop film ‘Sooryavanshi’. He will return to the sets of ‘Kanchana’ remake in August, as the film readies for release in early 2020.
