Akshay Kumar recently took on the ‘boycott’ trolls and asked his fans and the media to stay away from such troublemakers. In an event to promote his upcoming film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ in Kolkata, Akshay opined, “It’s a free country. Everyone is allowed to do what they want. There are a few people who do these things. They’re doing mischief and it’s not going to make any sense. We are all on the verge of making our country the biggest and the greatest. I would request them to not get into it. I would also request everyone to not highlight such things. It’s better for our country.” For those who missed the Twitter trends, the trolls were bombarding these hashtags #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha, #BoycottRakshaBandha and #BoycottDarlings nearing their respective releases.
