South remakes are ruling the roost in Bollywood since many years. After the massive success of ‘Kabir Singh’ Shahid Kapoor will be seen in yet another South remake ‘Jersey’. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar has also plunged into the game but this time to produce the Hindi remake of the Telugu film ‘Bhaagamathie’. Buzz suggests that Akshay will be collaborating with another producer Vikram Malhotra for this horror flick which will feature R Madhavan and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. The Telugu film was about a female IAS officer who lives in a haunted house and is possessed by a spirit. G Ashok who directed the original ‘Bhaagamathie’ will be calling the shots for the Bollywood remake as well.
